So a friend of mine brought to my attention that he found this article about me online from Vents Magazine. I read it and dug a lil deeper and was able to find the same article was also posted on PopMusicRadar. This feels amazing because if you're reading this you know I'm back in the music game and I been dropping all the old DWB stuff that wasn't really released. Well its super validating to see that I apparently meant something to people. I've been seeing that all over social media and it jus feels amazing to see how y'all really wanted to see me come back... and I'm super grateful and honored to be here right now doing what I love. Delusional's first release since 2015 comes in the form of a Best Of album, featuring a wild mix of arguably the best Delusional and Durty White Boyz songs EVER created, spanning his entire career as well as his time with DWB.
Friday the 13th 2023 marks the beginning of a new era for Delusional as his first official single since 2015 will be unleashed upon the world! After 2015's "Retaliation" album, Delusional lost touch with himself and went down a road he very well might've NEVER returned from had something not intervened. Drugs had ahold of him and they became everything he lived for. He truly hit rock bottom, a viscious cycle of homelessness, from hotel to motel and back on the streets again. Addiction is real. In and out of county jail, home foreclosed, which finally landed him in State Prison.
Since turning his life around and finally back in a positive direction, D rediscovered those very same feelings of hunger, aggression, progression, and passion he felt when he first began making his debut solo albums way back in the early 2000's. Before the Durty White Boyz, before the major labels, before the fallouts, drug abuse, money, and horrible choices, there was a flame! That flame had been blown out but it has been lit once again.
D went back to his roots and has been working relentlessly on a brand new album since he got out of prison and its quite possibly some of the best music he's ever made in his whole career. With a clear mind and a new lease on life, Delusional's new found confidence and drive is shaping this album up to be an instant classic.
